Kelly shares with us her story of infertility and the beautiful way that God showed up for her and her husband...in Hawaii no less!! I love this story so much. It's a reminder of so many things. The Power of His Love

Welcome to Unwasted Wounds Season 2 Episode 3! We have another exciting guest for you today. John Scott is sharing his story of how God rescued him from 25 years of what I'm calling, "twisted scripture". It's sort of an extension to Episode 1 and 2 with his wife, Martha Scott. I encourage you to go back and listen to her episodes before you listen to this one. They are so so good and it will give even more context. I heard a quote recently by Annie F. Downs where she said, "God saved my life just once, but he rescues me over and over." I love love LOVE this. It's been true in my own life and it's so true and evident in John's story. Time and time again, through the humility and kindness of others, God brought him back to the truth of His word and to the truth of His unending love for him. Ephesians 4:2 "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." 1 John 4:16. "So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. GOD IS LOVE, and whoever abides in Love abides in God, and God abides in him." We honestly got so much out of this episode you guys and it was such a powerful reminder to love people well!! Bound by Fear, Freed by Love - Part Two

Welcome back to part two of Martha Scott's interview. It was such a blessing to have her on. It seems like every time I get to sit and speak with her I learn more and more. I will always be grateful for the little nuggets of wisdom she passes on and I'm so happy that Jayme and I were able to share her with you these past couple of weeks.  Her story of Gods deliverance in this episode was so moving. I love that we serve a  God who meets us right where we are. In times of grief he can't wait to comfort us like no-one else can. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed". And that's exactly what he did with Martha. He rescued and delivered her and restored her joy once again!  To God be the glory. Amen. Thank you for listening!!
