We’ve all dealt with it. Some of us really struggle with it. A few of us are at a professional level with it. Procrastination. What’s up with this, anyway? WHY do we do it? It just doesn’t make sense. Is there something deep down that keeps us from doing what we know we have to do? Can we learn to do it less, maybe even escape its ugly grip? On this week’s WarriorTalk podcast, Dave Jenks explores the whole world of procrastination, the reasons behind it and his experience with overcoming it. You’ll enjoy his take. He told us that he’d have done it sooner, but, you know, things got in the way!!! DON’T YOUPUT OFF LISTENING TO THIS.

Dave is a best-selling author of some of the top real estate and business books ever written. So who better to ask about HOW to write a book! Dave gives you a step-by-step process on how to write a book and then the “what now?” after it’s written.

A study in 2004 said that more than two-thirds of American families have been touched by addiction [http://www.webmd.com/mental-health/news/20040514/survey-addiction-touches-many-lives] — either with alcohol or drugs. Addiction comes in many different forms and is unique to each person. But when you get down to the details, much of it is the same: habits that can be dangerous and harm someone’s life. Dave Jenks knows this personally. In 1999, he stood up in front of a group of people and said “I’m Dave, and I’m an alcoholic.” From that moment, Dave went through a transformation. A transformation that helped to get his life back on track. A transformation that he shares in this edition of WarriorTalk; one of the most heartfelt and honest discussions we’ve ever had. If you suffer from an addiction or know someone that does, we created this for you.

What is the greatest invention humans have ever created? This question really makes us think, doesn’t it? Our mind immediately starts to generate answers. And, many different ideas come to mind. We can go all the way back in time to the discovery of fire or the wheel. The Renaissance produced the printing press and many new scientific discoveries. The Industrial Revolution produced: the light bulb, the gasoline engine, the car and the airplane. Some would say the creation of the computer that has launched the information era we’re in now. Maybe it’s the Internet which has led to an explosion of knowledge, creativity, and connection. But Dave Jenks has his own unique answer to the question. It’s one that will probably surprise us. And it will definitely make us think. Take a listen to this week’s WarriorTalk podcast and let us know what YOU think.

Do you ever notice that people use “three” often when trying to come up with points or describe something? “What are the three things you remember from that speech?” “Ever notice things happen in threes?” Is there something behind that? And more importantly, is this something you can harness and use to help you with your business? Dave Jenks discusses “The Power of Three” in our latest WarriorTalk podcast.
