Episode 4: Sandy Ryan "can you introduce us to Anthony Joshua?"

Sandy would like you to "get some lubricant and slide into the DM's" - actual quote. She's strong but she's thirsty. She's only from TEAM bloody GB guys! What do you do when you're in the presence of a celeb? We ask them to introduce us to their celebrity friends, or more specifically Anthony Joshua. (If there's anyone else interesting please enquire within). Of all her accomplishments having Anthony Joshua as a friend is pretty low on the scale of things Sandy has done and although we think that's unfair on poor old Anthony, it speaks to achievements she has managed so far in her career. Sandy shares her experience of being an exceptional boxer in a male dominated industry, not celebrating Christmas when she 'has a job on' and what it means to feel strong and powerful but still feminine and top of the fucking pops.  This woman has ZERO vices - we think she's lying but my god her eye is on the prize and we can't wait to see where she takes her career. Listen to this absolutely HILARIOUS podcast where it's mostly stand up comedy with brief periods of "so tell me about your fists".    Email: andotherliespod@outlook.com Instagram: LiLaurent / Abidays24 Facebook: AndOtherLiesPod

Episode 3: Paranormal Activity "why has no one ever seen a ghost in a Nike tracksuit?"

WELCOME BACK TO WEEK 3 OF I'M FINE THANKS AND JESUS CHRIST SEND HELP WE'RE STILL ON LOCKDOWN.    Ugh. Thank god we got some of these in the bag eh? This week, to lighten the mood of the impending doom that is the Corona Virus, we talk all things Paranormal!  Firmly on the side of belief, Abi shares stories and concepts that perpetuate society into the consistent view that ghosts are real and your Nan is still judging your personal choices in the after life. Li, aggressively on the side of "sounds like you've got toxic mould in your house, not a ghost" defends her logical, scientific position with some hot common sense coming in fast to upset everyone who's lost someone and thinks they've seen them by the light of the moon.  I mean, guys, why don't we ever hear embarrassing stories about ghosts? Why are all the sightings in castles but not in B&Q? Why are there never groups of ghosts and they're all like "I live alone I'm the only person who has ever died in this area". It doesn't make sense. (Can you tell who wrote this bio?) Whether you do or don't believe, this conversation is hilarious, informative and broad. as. shit. Top content from top people, where else are you going to go for a reliable source of knowledge these days? The news? *rolls eyes*    Email: andotherliespod@outlook.com Instagram: LiLaurent / Abidays24 Facebook: AndOtherLiesPod

Episode 2: Lee Reidy "DARKNESS" ft Li Laurent

Is it self indulgent to name an episode after the title of your last music singles? We didn't think so. And as we're now in lockdown, no one is here to tell us we're wrong.  The weekend before the COVID Lockdown commenced, we were able to get our greasy mitts on the gorjul' (she meant gorgeous) Lee Reidy, artist extraordinaire and all round nice person.  Lee shares how trauma informed his early years' development with a father wanted for arrest on suspicion of murder, a long overdue ASD diagnosis, waitlists upon waitlists upon waitlists upon waitlists upon waitlists...for treatment and life as a Creative full time - what IS it really like in the mind of an artist?  We get deep, dirty (not really) and most of all we set fire to all the hand sanitiser. Only joking. It's the world that's on fire and apparently* a Wuhan bat is to blame. *I mean really?    Find Lee on Instagram, Facebook and Spotify - new song "Loose Wiring" out now!   Email: andotherliespod@outlook.com Instagram: LiLaurent / Abidays24 Facebook: AndOtherLiesPod

Episode 2: New Year New Me Bitch

Picture the scene.  It's the start of a new year. We are ready to begin a whole new season of goodness for your noise wholes all the while completely unaware that there's someone out there about to chow down on a bat (of all things) and ruin the plans of everyone on the planet for the foreseeable future. So as you will hear in this gorgeous episode, we had relatively high hopes for this new year new me bullshit and we really did speak quite optimistically of the future and then the universe went... You know what you guys need? Bereavements. You know what else the planet needs? A plague. And hey presto this episode gets thrust to the back seat and before you know it we are where we are which is why if you're thinking... Well this seems unorganised. Oh trust us we know. And we can only apologise but sometimes life happens and you have to put out a new year episode in April. Regardless we hope you enjoy this flashback to January episode. Stay safe and stay home guys ❤️   Email: andotherliespod@outlook.com Instagram: LiLaurent / Abidays24 Facebook: AndOtherLiesPod

episode Episode 1: Did Someone Say Corona? artwork
Episode 1: Did Someone Say Corona?

Well blow us down and call us feathers, we NEVER expected to be making a come back in the middle of a viral lockdown.  And by come back we mean we have 6 episodes for you and honestly after that only Boris knows what's next. We're conscious that now, with very little to do and SO much time, it might be helpful to bring back the joy in your lives. Clearly, our long overdue return has created a podcast shaped hole in your hearts and we want to make amends and fill you with our abstract voice boxes.  In this, newly positioned Episode 1 of Season 3, we talk all things Corona, how Li might have manifested the virus upon the planet (sorry, world) and the "what next?" discussion, which is now, quite redundant - though still hilarious.  Could we be the cure to COVID-19? Probably not. But we're probably not going to make it any worse.  Disclaimer: All episodes are historical recordings - as will become glaringly obvious when we start talking about our "New Year New Me" episode from January... Sadly we had a delayed comeback due to some personal bereavements that meant recording couldn't go ahead. And now, obviously we're having a mass global lock down which means recording still can't go ahead! BUT WE MISS YOU. So we'll release what we have and hopefully bring you more gorgeous content in the very near future. No further episodes have been recorded since mandated social distancing.
