Dr. Keisha & Elika decide to cram a whole day's activities into a few hours. They discuss some gym observations and some of the latest TikTok drama.

In this episode Dr. Keisha introduces Elika as a co-host. The two friends share how they met, and the dynamics involved. They also discuss the case of Reese Teesa, a woman who married a pathological liar and shared the story in 50 parts on TikTok. This episode I all about how meetings strangers can go right or wrong!

Parents are never prepared to bury a child. Lashawn Dennis is no exception. Yet, she found herself in this position when her 18 year old Marakah Ori Dennis (Rocki) suddenly passed away during her first semester of college. In this episode Dr. Keisha learns more about how Lashawn and her family utilized community as a part of their healing process, and how they have used this unforeseen tragedy as an opportunity to impact this same community in tangible ways. Through wellness circles, giving back and scholarships, Lashawn and her tribe continue to keep the legacy of Rocki alive. Rocki visited a pineapple farm as a child and lived by the words "Stand Tall, Wear a Crown and Be Sweet on the Inside".

In this episode, Dr. Keisha interviews her friend and "lil sis" Dacia Kings. Dacia is a musician who over time has evolved. They talk about Dacia's time in New York City trying to make it as a singer here and how the hustle caused her to lose herself. Dacia recently released a country single ride and talks to Dr. Keisha about how this is a return to her roots. She talks about anticipating a big birthday and the pressure she placed on herself because of what she perceives to be her lack of accomplishment. A good listen filled with laughs for anyone who needs some encouragement that they are doing okay.

After taking a 6 month sabbatical from work Dr. Keisha returns to New York City. In this episode she shares a little bit about her travels to Panama, Tanzania and Trinidad & Tobago. As a full-time faculty member she found herself heading towards burnout and this time away was very helpful. She discusses the biggest lessons she's learned as well as wha changes she is going to make as she returns to work as a professor of Psychology. As a bonus, she shares a bit about apartment hunting in Brooklyn, and how she narrowly avoided having a bad landlord.
