Bonus Episode - 2 Black Guys Head To Japan

Recorded in three sessions while away in Japan, here is the 2 Black Guys Talk Godzilla episode recapping what happened when Aaron and Terence went on vacation to the otherside of the world and saw plenty of Godzilla-related sites and more. Yes, the 2 Black Guys stayed in the Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah room in Hotel Gracery, but that's not all. They saw key sites such as Osaka Castle and Tokyo Tower, ate it up at the Pokémon Cafe, enjoyed a night of sumo wrestling, and, of course, took the ride of a lifetime by zip-lining through Godzilla's mouth. The Heisei Era comes to an end, and just as everything goes out of control! For this episode of 2 Black Guys Talk Godzilla, Aaron and Terence discuss the concluding film of this era, 1995’s Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, directed by Takao Okawara. This powerful entry manages to deliver one of Godzilla’s deadliest threats, his own looming self-destruction, and other means to wrap up this stretch of films. Terence and Aaron have plenty to cover here, including their thoughts on the latest kaiju design, how well this entry balances horror and affecting drama, and how it brings the entire storyline to a close (for now). That’s more than enough for Terence and Aaron to work with as they discuss the kaiju designs, the continuity of this era’s storyline, including the continued presence of Baby G, and just how far this film can push.
