We are stoked to kick off the first pod of 2026 with Surprise Soup, a Denver-based band who has become a fixture in the Fort Collins music scene. Surprise Soup are inspired by old school midwest emo, with a taste for jazz, blues, and improv. Their biggest goal is to bring people together through music and create a community where everyone can just let go and be goofy silly and dance despite everything going on in the world. This band has become a vehicle for more than just music, but also festivals and DIY events where they showcase artists who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to be heard. If you're not familiar, Winct is a bit of a Cheyenne outlier, passionate about his craft as a lyricist and brings the highest energy to every show.
