That's not performance...that's cermony. 2) Scholar-DJ Hybrid - While some DJs are historians and others are selectors, Kervyn bridges both. He's a walking archive of Afro-diasporic music history, able to link Yoruba rhythms, spitual jazz, early house, broken beat, and deep soul with scholarly insight. But he doesn't lecture-he lets the music teach.
