Chapter 9- The Hall of the Goblin Palace

Curdie follows Glump into the hall of the goblin palace. He comes to know of the king's plan and an alternate plan proposed by Glump, should the king's plan fail. Glump's plan, we have an idea about. The king's plan is a mystery.

Chapter 8- The Goblins

In chapter 8, we follow Curdie as he stumbles upon the goblins’ hidden world. By chance, he overhears their secret conversations and uncovers a dark plot brewing beneath the mountain. It’s here that Curdie realizes the danger threatening the kingdom—and that he may be the only one who can stop it.

Chapter 7- The Mines

Welcome back to our journey through George MacDonald’s The Princess and the Goblin. Today, we’re heading underground—deep into the dark, winding mines where the goblins make their home. In Chapter 7, we follow Curdie, the brave young miner, as he works alongside his father and begins to notice things in the tunnels that don’t quite add up. There are whispers of danger, strange noises in the shadows, and the ever-present threat of the goblins’ mischief. Chapter 6- The Little Miner
