CHUNK THE 17TH - AMONG OTHER THINGS, BARLOWS AND REDCAPS

The fearful creature lurking within the enormous egg atop the unclimb-downable mountain turned out to be a freshly hatched Baba Yaga Jr.’s — confused, terrifying, and apparently in desperate need of parental supervision. Naturally, the Miggins immediately adopt it as a mode of transportation. Using the gangly monstrosity to descend the mountain without instantly plummeting to their deaths, the party makes its way toward Flameswallow — the once-renowned artist colony where they hope to recruit another ally to their increasingly questionable cause. But something is wrong. Very wrong. Visible in the distance lies what appears at first to be a toppled cathedral sprawled across the landscape like the ruins of some ancient civilization. Except cathedrals generally do not possess arms and legs. No... It’s a dead Barlow. Plus, a SONG: "Recaps" The unicorn is corny and the porcupine is thorny  and the hippogriff is often horny when it lands. But of all the “magic” creatures,  with their myriad of features, the Redcaps are the most miserable, down hands. They’re lumpy and they’re dumpy Unreasonable and grumpy. Their only joy is making others mad. It’s an infection that they spread  in wishing others dead. It’s what hatred becomes  when it’s no longer a fad. They resist all rehabilitation. We recommend decapitation or even some defenestration if you have a window handy.
