Relationship Goals | 11 Ways to Communicate Care & Concern

Care or Concern the rule in Communication: Communicate knowing you are bearing with each other for the sake of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3 I, therefore, the prisoner [a]of the Lord, [b]beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with long suffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ways to Communicate with care and concern: 1. Communicate in your spouses love language not your own. 2. Let go of your expectations and accept where your spouse is emotionally and mentally in at the moment. 3. Communicate in touch, embrace your spouse everyday and it you can throughout the day. 4. Admit when you are wrong 5. Be truthful to each other, learn how to speak the truth so that your spouse is receptive. 6. Show acts of love, small gestures that show you are go a long way. 7. Know that some days will suck, learn to embrace each other when you are going through touch times. Don’t allow stress to separate you. Go against the emotion to separate and begin to come together as one. Pray, embrace, talk and speak the Word over the situation. 8. Make sure you are getting what you need as far as recreation, time to strengthen yourself so that you can have more to give. 9. Make a day to do what your spouse loves doing, treat them to what they enjoy. 10. Be quick to hear slow to speak and slow to anger. James 1:19-20 11. Respect your spouses emotional state, do not put it down, criticize it in ANY WAY SHAPE OF FORM!!!
