Abilities in Disabilities: Ezekiels' Story

At the age of two; in 1985, Ezekiel developed weakness on his right lower limb as a result of post-polio myelitis. This has conditioned him to frequent visits to the hospital for both physiotherapeutic treatment and orthopaedic care, and this will be his routine for the rest of his life on earth. A humanitarian, theatre director, children evangelical minister/mentor , school manager and a caterer. He is unrelenting in his disabilities.  According to Ezekiel,                                      "Who I am today is the product of my spirit, which is that of ability and courage which no disability can steal away"

I killed COVID-19:Tales of a Survivor

COVID-19 is real, it is important we keep sensitising people to let them know that the corona virus is real. It is easily contractible, and we must work together as a people, to defeat it. Julianna a survivor of the coronavirus disease, has described her experience with the highly contagious infection as a gruesome one that seems to be publicly underplayed. She explains her experience in details and  condemned stigmatisation of infected people, adding that it is better to encourage people to be transparent about the situation rather than being overtly secretive.

Help! I am losing my Identity.

Losing your identity can mean that you and your partner are so compatible that your identity gets combined into theirs. You practically finish each others sentences, and to be honest , that's is one of the truest form of any relationship. However, its really important to note that sometimes you can loose yourself for a while and that is ok, its all part of a learning curve.  What is simply unacceptable is not finding ways to redefine yourself.

The Death of My spouse: Shared experiences from the surviving spouse.

The death of a spouse is rated as one of the most distressing events in life. Almost immediately, the surviving spouse is hit with a wall of worries, issues and concerns. Did you also know that 85% of people do not know the right things to say to the widowed? We basically don't know how these things work, especially because no one is trained to mourn. Carla, Tolu and Blessing.... the young widows,  were suddenly drifted to take this life path so early... on this episode, they get to share a tidbit of how life has been since the loss of their husbands.
