Learning to Let Go

Episode 5 is about letting go—really letting go. Not just what’s obvious, but the things we’ve been carrying out of fear, comfort, or control. Looking at how Jesus sent the disciples out two by two, we unpack what He told them to take (and not take), and what that reveals about trust, dependence, and obedience. Faithful Obedience

Obedience isn’t just about behavior—it’s about belief. In this episode, we’re getting to the root of disobedience and uncovering what’s really beneath it: unbelief. Dealing with Sin

In this episode, I talk about what it really means to deal aggressively with our sin, not perfectly, but intentionally. We look at moments in the Bible where sin is confronted instead of ignored, why it’s important to stop negotiating with the things that pull us away from God, and how we can start responding differently. I also share a few practical ways to handle sin with honesty, through community, bringing it to Jesus, and asking the Lord for help instead of trying to do it alone. This episode isn’t about shame. It’s about choosing freedom on purpose.

A Depressed Disciple

In this episode, I share my personal experiences with depression, both before my faith journey and while walking as a disciple. I talk about what it looked like to be depressed in different seasons of my life, how I coped then, and how things shifted when I chose to lean on my faith instead of my old habits and old ways of surviving. This isn’t a how-to or a fix-it episode, it’s an honest reflection on navigating depression while still choosing God, even when life circumstances felt heavy. A reminder that faith doesn’t erase the struggle, but it does change where we turn when it shows up.

In this first episode, I share my personal journey of what it truly meant to give my life to Christ, not just believing, but becoming a disciple. I open up about the moment I realized I wasn't just called to be saved, but to follow, surrender, and be transformed. Using Luke 5, we walk through Peter's encounter with Jesus at the water, the exhaustion, the obedience, the miracle, and the call to leave everything behind. Then, through 2 Peter, we see growth: a once-impulsive fisherman becoming a rooted, mature disciple who understands faith, perseverance, and purpose. This episode isn't about perfection.
