The Unfair & Lovely Podcast

Hi my name is Chand Bhangal and I am a content creator and community event organizer from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). I founded the Unfair & Lovely Club back in 2021 and it was a 10 week program that would inspire, educate and empower the participants. We did meet virtually on a weekly basis however I am transitioning to podcast!If you have ever experienced colourism, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! So if you're curious to hear my story, want to meet individuals who are taking up space or want to be a part of a community that is working towards tackling societal issues like colourism, let's heal together.I am passionate about education, decolonization, community development, project management, anti-oppression, and trauma informed work. I am also a Peer Champion for the Ontario Council of Immigrants Serving Immigrants (OCASI) and I work with them to raise awareness about gender based violence.
