I Am the Good Shepherd: Psalm 23 and John 10. Ps. Ryan continues the “Names of God” series by connecting Exodus 3:14 (“I AM”) with Jesus’ declaration in John 10:11-16 that He is the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep, bringing both Israel and Gentiles into one flock. Using Psalm 23:1-4, it explains that “The Lord (Yahweh) is my shepherd” is God’s promise to provide, while “I shall not want” is the believer’s response to desire God above His gifts, rejecting a “vending machine” faith. Ps. Ryan emphasizes worship and commitment rather than church-hopping, and teaches that the Shepherd makes sheep rest, leads them to green pastures and still waters, and restores “cast” sheep through patient, protective care. The Everlasting Father (Ps. Yen de Felipe)

Jesus is our Everlasting Father.  Ps. Yen's sermon centers on Jesus as “Everlasting Father” from Isaiah 9:6, explaining it is not a Christmas sermon but a call to deeper understanding.  Using King Josiah’s story, we see how responding to God’s Word can break generational patterns: Josiah sought God despite a wicked family line, repented when the Book of the Law was found, and was guided by mentors. The church is urged to help address fatherlessness by mentoring and “keeping the flame” of faith.
