A quick bite with Sophie etc! We learn all about her fabulous Street Feast event, her passion for social and her secrets to success. And she's only just getting started.

I LOVED spending lunch time today with the lovely Sophie Neal. Famous for her Sophie Etc Blog [https://www.sophieetc.com/] and award winning social channels, Sophie has built a strong brand in Milton Keynes for being a trusted food and restaurant blogger and content creator and a huge champion for our local independent companies. And oh how we love her! In this episode Sophie shares her journey from school, through uni, how she navigated the lock down, to creating and building the business she has today. Sophies is a fabulous story, one that inspires and challenges us all to rethink our approach to our businesses, as she shares her secrets to creating a work life balance, to managing anxiety and keeping a check on her mental health. She reminds us that the value of time and freedom often outweighs a financial reward, and what we should be chasing as our life and business goals. I loved hearing about this weekends Street Feast event [https://www.instagram.com/p/C_-Oz31qjJJ/] - 11am at The MK Discovery Centre, in collaboration with Toy Box and YMCA charities. September is the biggest month of change. How to understand what you and your kids are going through and why we feel unstable right now.

This was the exact tonic we all needed for the first full week back to school. Thank you Susie Robbins for joining me and helping me undertand whats happening for our little people and for us parents during this crazy, stressful week back to school. In the last four days back to school its been whack a mole! In that each day one of my kids has kicked off, or been super teary and emotional before school. Emotions are high, tensions are strong, everyones exhausted and we are all snapping to some extent. Today I had really stressful and upsetting drop off. I had to send Lily to school in tears following a terrible morning where I lost my temper with her, and then felt all the guilt and emotions that follow. Susie lets me talk this though, she explains whats actually going on for us all through the summer, then how the transition into school effects us. If you're struggling with kids who don't want to go to school, with strong emotions and battles before the school run, this episode will make you understand and feel so much better. Most importantly, you are not alone! I'm here and I totally get it. We're in it together! Susie Robbins is a Behaviour Consultant, she hosts workshops, Q&A's, 121 consultations, and lots more.
