Jesus and the Blind man

Like the blind beggar who never asked for help, God intervenes in our lives while we're still helpless, pursuing us in our brokenness rather than waiting for us to get it together first. - Tell the whole story, not just the comfortable parts. When we edit our testimonies to avoid shame or embarrassment, we silently suggest we played a part in our own salvation. We face the same choice daily: will we risk comfort and convenience to testify to God's goodness, or will we keep our mouths closed to protect our reputation?

Service and Sacrifice

We don't lose our salvation, but walking through this world gets our feet dirty. We must come to Jesus regularly for the cleansing that keeps us in close fellowship with Him.

Jesus offers us a great exchange: His righteousness for our filthy rags, His wealth for our poverty, His sight for our blindness. All we must do is open the door.
