Let's be honest....we're not doing well when it comes to supporting families during the postpartum period. After the baby comes, everyone seems to feel like the family doesn't need any support. In my personal situation, I was blessed to have older children to help after giving birth. If you don't have that benefit, who will help the new mom who's caring for a new tiny human?  The postpartum period isn't a time to ignore or leave the new family alone.
