Episode 29: The Come Up

On this episode we unpack fashion, love, navigating through these interesting times and all things girl chat as always! We were joined by the lovely Janielle Mckoy who is a Fashion Producer and Learning Differences Advocate. From showcasing her personal style on herself and her clients on and off television, to sharing her experiences living with Dyslexia in the corporate world, she is far from the average style guru.  She has over 10 years of visual display /consulting experience and has worked for powerhouses like Harry Rosen, Saks Fifth Avenue, Holt Renfrew along with television networks like CBC and BET.   Today, she has shifted gears and has brought her styling skills behind and in front of the camera. She has been a fashion expert on popular morning show “Cityline” with Tracy Moore. Once or twice a month, you can find Janielle on there sharing the latest fashion trends but on a budget. When she’s not in front of the camera, she is behind the scenes working as a costume buyer for film and television. You don't want to miss this candid moment and truly appreciate her for just telling it all!!

Episode 28: Black Excellence

On this episode, we were joined by the amazing Brione Wishart where we discussed his business, his ventures and the importance of family and pioneers in our communities. As usual we did not leave anything out including his past experiences. Brione Wishart is a Toronto based film director, producer and the founder of ARTLEE Creative Agency and The Hustle Never Dies. His work stems from a love of Cinema, Music, Fashion and Storytelling.  Known for his ability to create visually engaging content and beautifully crafted work and products that captures something real and authentic in every subject, Brione's talent for cinematic storytelling is evident in all of his work. His work includes a wide variety of clients such as Nike, BMW, Le Germain Hotels, Merry Jane, Restaurants Canada and The Alzheimer's Society.  What we admire the most is the fact that he is focused on undeserving communities getting any opportunities they can.  Tune in and let us what you think because we enjoyed every minute of it!!!!

Episode 26: Situationships

Situationships: A space between a committed relationship and something that is more than a friendship. Are you in one? Have you ever been caught up in one? Please do share. Now we have heard numerous terminologies out there but this one has been the most common one over the years. On this episode we uncover very briefly on Nelly's situation as an example but we have seen these style of relationships over and over where partners are left on uncertainty as to where they stand in the relationship.
