A Catholic's Diary - Finding Community

Hi guys! I am SO pumped about this topic because it's such an important one. Finding the right community and navigating the hurdles that come with it is something so many of us experience. I have four friends joining me today to share their journey of finding community. We touch on a few topics like Jesus Youth (a missionary movement we're part of), the experience of starting a Catholic young adult men's house in Philly, and how God places specific people in our lives for a reason. I can't wait to share more on the topic of finding community! It's certainly an important one because God calls us to be in communion with each other! A Catholic's Diary - Divine Mercy Sunday/God's Unending Mercy!

Hi y'all! Happy Divine Mercy Sunday, and for those not listening to this on Divine Mercy Sunday, then happy never ending mercy of God LOL. God's mercy for us is infinite and He has given us resources to overcome sin. One of the greatest resources is the Divine Mercy Chaplet. It's promised to us that anyone who says this prayer will receive more graces than their soul could ever need! So let's use this as a reminder that this prayer was made for us and especially our souls. Let's use this as motivation to say the Divine Mercy Chaplet as much as possible, not just for us but for the world. Plus an amazing perk of this prayer is it's not too long! Only takes me 10 minutes, which I can't complain about, especially if I'm receiving mercy for my soul!! As always - God bless, Alisha

A Catholic's Diary - Attacks on the Mind/Spiritual Warfare

Hi everyone! The year is wrapping up and we are on our final episode in year 2025. Can you believe it?! Anyways, as we enter this new year, I wanted to talk about reaching our full calling and potential this upcoming year, and how attacks on our mind block us from doing so. First off, let me just say, evil only attacks when we are doing something right. Its goal is to block us from full communion with God. So ultimately it's a compliment cause we are definitely doing something right :) But this should not stop us from embracing our true calling and being on the same page as Abba! A Catholic’s Diary - Can God Really Fulfill My Desires?

Hello family!! In this episode, we are going to touch on if God can really fulfill our desires. Sometimes we are tempted to believe that His story for us will be boring. That He won't consider our desires and we will end up unhappy surrendering it to Him. The truth is that He sees us. He hears us. And He will fulfill our desires and more!! Woah how cool is that? Let this episode be a reminder that the Lord delights in us and wants the best for us. He gives us desires and dreams for a reason! Of course He wants to help us reach that. I have a small request for my listeners today. READ PSALMS 37. The passage is all promises the Lord has for those who trust Him. So let's continue to do that even though life gets tough sometimes.
