Shayan Doroudi is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Irvine School of Education with a courtesy appointment at the Department of Informatics. He does research at the intersection of educational data science, educational technology, and the learning sciences. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from the California Institute of Technology and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
Sheikh Salim Yusufali is an Islamic Shia scholar based in Canada. He studied Islamic Theology in Qom, Iran for over 10 years and also holds a BS and MS in Computer Science from Stanford University. Sheikh Salim is also the original founder of www.al-islam.org, a website that lets you browse hundreds of Islamic books, lectures, and videos.
