Ep 6: Always A Spartan- Joshua Coker- Calgary Stampeders (Class of 2015)

In this episode of the "Always A Spartan Podcast", we welcome former GAC standout Joshua Coker, a remarkable dual-sport athlete and GAC Class of 2015 alumnus. Joshua helped lead the Spartans to the 2014 state championship game as a key member of the football team and claimed GAC's first-ever state championship title in wrestling the same year. Today, he's an offensive tackle for the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL, recently signing a two-year extension to stay with the team through 2025. Tune in as we discuss Joshua’s journey from GAC to college football at Rhodes College, where he earned All-American honors in each of his last two seasons, to his determination through the NFL Draft, and eventually finding success in the CFL. After making his debut in 2022, Joshua stepped up in a major way for Calgary in 2023, anchoring an offensive line that allowed the third-fewest sacks in the league. His story is one of resilience, hard work, and true Spartan spirit—don’t miss it!
