In a somewhat defensive I try to explain to the general public why it takes so ding dang long for them to be seen at an Emergency Department (hint: we're not having sex in a maintenance closet) and I take a very passive agressive stab at my friends for not being as straight edge as I am. I drop some legit truths on the stress of excessive documenting in medicine and I recommend some legit songs. I know more than just pop music y'all.

A doctor without a PhD will try to explain what scientific research is good for and a K pop fan will present a playlist with, you guessed it, some K pop in it. She also unironically loves the song "Caramelldansen" and it would be her chosen bop to kill a man with her bare hands to.

In this episode I display like... At least 10 ten times more passion for Nintendo's latest opiate-like delight of a videogame than my medical career but I guess that's what depression does to ya. This week's playlist spans from the 50's to 2019 and contains songs in several languages, so I try to keep it a bit varied like that.

In this first episode I try to simultaneously encourage AND discourage people from getting into medicine by dispelling some misconceptions about what it's like to be a doctor (spoiler alert: it's in SHARP CONTRAST with the power trip of working in Transport at a hospital). I also talk about what songs I listen to when I cry alone in my bed, I heard it's the latest trend to do so these days!
