The Moment Before AI Showed Up At My Door

This podcast is a time capsule. Comedic to think that at the point of this recording in October 2025 I had successfully avoided the use of intentional AI. Elisha was using it in a minor way in the professional environment, and now, in 2026 the AI conversation is the most prevalent part of daily life, because of an AI Data Center. This is the conversation right before the pivot, and a cherished capture that we couldn't have planned better if we'd tried.

Due to the need for them to often be in Red Deer or Calgary and the surrounding area, it is common for there to not be an ambulance available when needed in town. It has been recommended if it is possible to safely travel to emerg, to do so without waiting an excessive amount of time for EMS to get back to Olds. When stated that we don't have them, this means, we don't have them IN town all the time.
