Welcome to Beyond the Church Walls Podcast. Life is busy, but God should always remain our number one so we are here to share the word God has for us to share and encourage you along the way. We, Caleb and Deevala Miles, are the youth pastors of Cross Point Church, but are not just called to do God's work inside the church. We pray you tune in here but if you are a student 7th - 12th grade, service is at 7 PM every Wednesday night! We pray you are encouraged to know God loves and sees you right where you are and so do we.

Skibidi Grace Part 1 | Deevala Miles

Skibidi is student slang word. Among students and teens, "skibidi" can mean either "bad" or "cool" depending on the context, so we used it in this 2 part series to mean "good grace" or "bad grace." We shouldn't take advantage of God's good grace using it as our scape goat to make whatever bad choices we want. Part 1 of Skibidi Grace goes in depth about bad choices and the consequences that come with them. If you are a youth local to us, join us on Wednesday nights at Cross Point Church, 7 PM. Disclaimer: The illustration in the beginning is a clear glass of water and food coloring. Caleb wanted to make the living water "orange" so Deevala being "God's leading" told him in order to make orange he needed two drops of yellow and one drop of red to make orange. Caleb made orange and then demonstrates free will and makes his own choices, not following God's leading. He then adds blue turning the water dark. BUT GOD... God meets us with grace (bleach) which then turns the water back clear (if you get the right measurements LOL).
