Val took advantage of her headstart, broke into the house of her target, Detective Cain, roughed him up, and stole his phone. Outside, Everett was waiting, and they faced off, both at the mercy of their beasts. Val relented when the sheriff triggered memories of her father, but when Martha tried to remove the memories of the altercation, Everett destroyed Raldoron’s car to clear his mind.
