Miiko grew up with drug-addicted parents. She tackled law school as a single mother on public assistance and became (and is currently) one of the most respected Sr. Prosecuting Attorneys in her jurisdiction. Additionally, as a Subject Matter Expert on Domestic Sex Trafficking and Gender-Based Violent Crime, she demonstrated that "protecting black girls" is more than a hashtag.
