Episode 6 - Patricia Allison X Ruff Radio

We're back with our first ever CROSSOVER EPISODE! It is a delight to be joined by Patricia Allison, a Queer, Disabled Choreographer, Director, Movement Director, Self-Producer, and Collective Member at Shakespeare in the Ruff. We have a brilliant conversation about Shakespeare in the Ruff's Upcoming production of "Tiff'ny of Athens" wriitten by Christine Horne & Nathaniel Hanula-James, how to make Theatre in the park as accessible as possible (during performances, and during the rehearsal process amidst air quality statements and heat waves), as well as discussing our histories with Shakespeare, and how we've both aimed to approach and re-imagine Shakespeare throughout our careers. Tickets are now on sale for Tiff'ny of Athens, and it opens in one week! The show will be running in Withrow Park between August 14th-August 31st everyday (Except Mondays), and Tickets are PWYC! And be sure to keep your eye out for new episodes of Ruff Radio as well as Cheers! The ORDA Podcast as we reawaken after our Toronto Fringe hiatus! P.S For all of the Hannah Smith fans out there, unfortunately she is not with us for this episode, but she will be back!! Shout out to Hannah!

Episode 5 - Simon Jay

Happy Pride Month, everybody! This week we have the pleasure of interviewing the person who started it all. Simon Jay is an Edinburgh based Theatre Reviewer, Comedian, Producer, Director, Playwright, and is the Creator and Editor of the Neurodiverse Review UK. We genuinely wouldn't have ORDA without him! Simon gives us crash course in Theatre Reviewing-- providing 3 important things to keep in mind when sitting down to write. They also chat about why they started the Neurodiverse Review UK, why he has such multifaceted interests, and his process of developing his new play "The Sunshine Spa" at A Play, A Pie, and A Pint Theatre Festival. Lots of takeaways from this week's chat, so sit back and enjoy! **CONTENT WARNING**: Mentions of Sexual Assault and Abuse in context of shows Simon has seen and reviewed.
