Episode God of the Sun Audiobook by Kimberly Loth Cover

God of the Sun Audiobook by Kimberly Loth

Listen to this audiobook in full for free on http://hotaudiobook.com [http://hotaudiobook.com] Title: God of the Sun Subtitle: Stella and Sol Book 1 Author: Kimberly Loth Narrator: Angel Clark Format: Unabridged Length: 5 hrs and 51 mins Language: English Release date: 12-29-17 Publisher: Kimberly Loth Genres: Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Fantasy: Epic Publisher's Summary: She's a crown princess running for her life. He's desperately trying to save his kingdom from annihilation. After being enemies for so long, they must depend on one another or risk a war that could kill them all. Enter a world where some never see the light of day and others cannot fathom the dark of night. With breathless romance, unexpected betrayal, and a ruthless hidden dictator, this incredible fantasy will leave you begging for more. Members Reviews: Loved this Book and Ready for More! God of the Sun is the first book in a new series by Kimberly Loth. In God of the Sun we are introduced to a new world where we meet an array of new characters. In the beginning of the book we are introduced to one royal family who are preparing for the announcement of a baby that is on the way when a witch shows up and warns them that they must bring the kingdoms of Stella and Sol together before the coming childâs first birthday or else the baby will die and many more after that. Then the story immediately jumps to the other kingdom and we meet the high princess Zwaantie. Zwaantie wants to live the simple life and be a midwife but has heir to the thrown she must eventually marry and assume the role of queen but she feels that she is no good for the role because she balks at the rules. But the Voice is there to keep her and everyone else in the kingdom in check, most of the time. However, things become complicated when Zwaantie decides that instead of choosing to marry one of the lower princes she wants to marry her brotherâs slave, Phoenix. But it is not allowed but she believes that she is in love with him and wants to be with him and will do just about anything to make it possible. So when Prince Leo comes from the neighboring kingdom and she learns what he can do she sets a plan in motion to accomplish. God of the Sun is an engaging story that draws you in and has you turning the pages as it is filled with intrigue, danger, magic and a hint of romance. There is quite a bit going on as we witness the return of Zwaantieâs brother as he returns from his training/studying to take on the role of Head Chancellor and he will be the closest person to the Voice that âgovernsâ them in its own way. Stella and Sol are neighboring kingdoms that are dependent on each other. One provides fresh foods for the other while the other provides medicines that the other needs because they cannot make them themselves. Zwaantie does not want to be queen one day. If she could abdicate the throne she would but it is impossible because her family believes that she was chosen by Sol and for her to choose another path would mean her death. But she feels that she is attracted to Phoenix, her brotherâs slave, and wishes to be with him instead. I really enjoyed this book but I really found Zwaantie to be a spoiled brat. Not in the sense of that she sits around and pouts if she doesnât get her way about things but she is petulant and doesnât really take into consideration the consequences of her actions or what it may mean for others. She sees Phoenix and Luna and she wishes that she didnât have the responsibilities of being royalty. But yet and still she depends on her royalty in order to accomplish certain tasks that she would otherwise be totally inept in accomplishing, for example â requesting more medicine for her people when they are running dangerously low.

Episode Wicked War of Mine Audiobook by John Corwin Cover

Wicked War of Mine Audiobook by John Corwin

Listen to this audiobook in full for free on http://hotaudiobook.com [http://hotaudiobook.com] Title: Wicked War of Mine Subtitle: Overworld Chronicles, Book 9 Author: John Corwin Narrator: Austin Rising Format: Unabridged Length: 10 hrs and 8 mins Language: English Release date: 12-28-17 Publisher: John Corwin Ratings: 5 of 5 out of 3 votes Genres: Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Fantasy: Epic Publisher's Summary: Time for payback.... Daelissa's attack on Queens Gate dealt Justin and the resistance a serious blow. The loss of his home and one of their strongest allies seems to mean certain defeat. Justin isn't about to give up. He embarks on a mission to bring the houses of Daemos to his side and seeks help from Fjoeruss, Mr. Gray himself, even if the odds of success are slim. As if the pressure isn't already high enough, Justin discovers something even more troubling. Daelissa is already in Seraphina. One silver lining remains: Justin might be able to end the war in one blow if his forces can disable the Grand Nexus before she returns with a Seraphim army. If the good guys can't shut down the Grand Nexus in time, Daelissa will unleash a can of whoop-ass on Eden the likes of which has never been seen. Members Reviews: Another fun read from John Corwin Another enjoyable chapter in this fast-paced series that has become somewhat like the old serials that were shown in movie theaters long ago. Every week was another installment; every week was another cliff-hanger and it was terrible if you missed an episode. I know the next book in the series will be the last and I am almost wishing I had waited until the last volume was ready to begin the series. That way, when one episode ended I could simply move on to the next "chapter" without having to wait for Corwin to crank it out. Not that there's any real problem with Corwin's pace: nine books since 2012 is pretty quick. If you're just happening on this book, I highly recommend picking up "Sweet Blood of Mine," the first book in the saga and following through the succeeding books in order. Each book builds on the action and characters in the preceding volume and you'll miss something as characters appear and disappear. As for "Wicked War of Mine" or Episode 9 in the Justin Slade Chronicles, the wicked war continues; Justin develops his already awesome powers even more; Daelissa unleashes a new force; a family member dies and we're left with one of the biggest cliff hangers yet. Will Daelissa prevail? Will the Siren be freed? Will Justin and Elyssa ever have an uninterrupted dinner? Stay tuned for the next exciting episode! Another great installment! Let me start by saying John Corwin spins an excellent series of Urban Fantasy encompassing just about every emotional will draw readers this amazing writing stble. This being the ninth installment does not disappoint. Justin &, now much larger, band of family, friends and allies now are taking the fight to the evil, psychotic & just downright mean Bad Girl's doorstep. The thrills, action & excitement has risen to new heights. So simply get the 1st book, which is free, channel your inner nerd, join a LARP group & hop on this train of pure reading pleasure. It's as simple as that. With vampire, magicians, werewolves, félycats, Goldman, an excitable ,magical 'T-Rex' 'Angels' you really can go wrong. I've liked every book of this series and the fun personalities ... I've liked every book of this series and the fun personalities of the main characters all along but this book raises it all a notch. The threat's bigger and the action wilder.

Episode Dying Day Audiobook by Kory M. Shrum Cover

Dying Day Audiobook by Kory M. Shrum

Listen to this audiobook in full for free on http://hotaudiobook.com [http://hotaudiobook.com] Title: Dying Day Subtitle: Dying for a Living, Book 7 Author: Kory M. Shrum Narrator: Hollie Jackson Format: Unabridged Length: 8 hrs and 8 mins Language: English Release date: 12-14-17 Publisher: Timberlane Press Ratings: 5 of 5 out of 4 votes Genres: Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Fantasy: Epic Publisher's Summary: She was the hero. Now she is the enemy. Jesse Sullivan has defeated her father and saved the world from his malevolence. But as the beloved face of The Unified Church, his death has made him a martyr, and she is once again public enemy number one. Yet it isn't the countless government agencies and assassins hunting her that she should fear. It is the entity powerful enough to reclaim what she has stolen and make our world its own. Members Reviews: Excellent ending I've rated the other books in the series but I haven't reviewed them, so this is kind of going to be a review for the whole series. I really enjoyed this series (and this book was no exception). It is not fast-paced. It takes six books to get to what could be the end, and then adds another book just when you think it must be over. But it's not a slow series, either. Everything that happens adds to the story. There's no filler. And it's easy to follow what happened in the previous books, which is good for me, since my memory for that kind of thing really sucks. Or maybe it's just because I read the whole series in one go. It definitely had a "can't put it down" quality. I blame it for screwing up my sleeping schedule for a week. But seriously, I really liked this series, and this book was a very good series finale. Kory Shrum takes our emotions on a wild ride with Dying Day! This is the last and final book of the Dying For a living series, and while yes I am so very sad to see the series end, I have loved every second of these books, I do also understand that all stories have an ending. Gut OMG! the feels in this one. You're emotions are on a constant roller coaster, and yes, you experience every single one. This book was so nonstop that I really could not put it down. It truly is the best of the series, and though I have thought each book was better than the last, this one was epic. You will cry real tears reading this one, and feel real anger as well. And then you will experience that YES! moment of satisfaction as well. Kory completely outdid herself here. And Gideon, you are my new hero and fantasy man crush!!! The Bittersweet End of an Epic Series I was so worried going into this last book in the Dying for a Living series. It's the very end, and I was DYING to know if Jesse would make it, if she'd get a happily ever after or if she'd go up in a sacrificial blaze of glory to save the world. There was also Ally and Maisie and Gloria and Gideon's fates to fret over. So. Much. Suspense. This series and its characters really grew on me, and Shrum might not be as guilty as George R.R. Martin, but she knows how to kill a beloved character (I'm still not over Brinkley). I'd hate to give anything away, so I'll just say this: Dying Day was a perfect ending to the series. And these books forever have a home on my shelf of favorites. â Can a âNecroniteâ be killed ? We will find out or will we ? Dying for a Living Series Book -7 Dying Day Jesse Sullivan is missing she is in the South Pole Jesse is the last Partist she has all the powers of all the Partist . She is frightened by that . She and Alice are separated Alice spends a good portion of the book attempting to get to Jesse. Jesse is using her shield to Destroy or is it save the world. We are kept in suspense. This book is labeled as the final book in the series.

Critic Reviews: "A captivating YA hybrid of sci-fi and medieval fantasy, mystery, and romance, Legacy opens The Biodome Chronicles series with divergent worlds on a carefully planned collision course." (Chanticleer Book Reviews) "...This book was beautifully written. It was detailed, immersive, and had a subtlety that I cannot help but be impressed by." (Kookie Krysp Reviews) "This is a fantastic launch to what promises to be a vivid and engaging series." (Pure Jonel Book Reviews) Members Reviews: Gorgeous! Such a lovely book! I started reading Legacy in print, and as soon as I saw it released in audio format, I immediately bought it and found my place in the recording. Theres something so moving about the narrator when he speaks Sundins gorgeous words. Do yourself a favor and give it a listen! An Overall Magical Tale A very well told story that has a lot of magic, wonder & drama. It's a story akin to the likes of Tolkien, C.S. Lewis for a new generation. The only true problem I have with the audio narration is just ok. Certainly good to listen, but feels rather slow and lack of changes to voice/tone that lets the listener know that a different character is talking or a sudden change of events. I still overall recommend it to anyone that enjoys all of fantasy literature. Fantastic narration for my new favorite series. Second place tie between the cover, narrator and character development. First place definitely goes to world building. I haven't loved being inside a story world so much since Harry Potter. However, I don't think the narrator could've done a better job. He was fantastic! I enjoyed how the epigraphs at the beginning of each chapter are woven into the story and the extra touch they give. Perfect Blend of old meets futuristic. Intriguing science without so much that the details become distracting. A growing mystery with wonderful characters. I'm grateful that this first story was finally made into an audiobook since I can't currently do any reading due to migraines. I devoured this and will be eagerly awaiting the audio books for the rest of the series.

Without his own cunning and her talents, Jax may very well meet his end, fighting for his life in the arena. Members Reviews: well written but went no where very slowly... whilst it was a good enough story nothing really happened in the story except to set the stage for the next book? A well written and crafted- fluid story... just a bit hollow
