Ep.12: Epilogue - Better Off Dead

A Shattered Reality In the Epilogue: A Shattered Reality, years have passed since the world last saw Jack Kennedy, whether it was at the Tunnel to Creation in 1962 or his assassination in Dallas in 1963. JFK, half asleep and reflecting on his journey, begins to understand the unusual nature of his existence. His spirit had survived the blast in 2018, yet his body remained preserved back in Washington. He had continued his work as president, knowing that through his sacrifice he had saved countless worlds, embracing Dr. Everett’s many-worlds theory. Despite his reluctance, JFK had accepted his fate, recognizing that the Dallas assassination was inevitable. The last thing he remembers is receiving last rites, believing he had found peace. But now, he wakes up disoriented in 1966, very much alive, in his familiar bedroom. As he reaches for his presidential diary, the date catches his attention—June 12, 1966—but what shocks him more are the strange symbols and insignias within the entries. This world is not the one he left behind. To his horror, he realizes he is in a reality where Hitler had won, and Nazi flags now dominate the White House. Confused, JFK calls for Bobby and Everett, and together they come to a chilling conclusion: in saving the many worlds, they had inadvertently altered their own. America is now a vassal state under Nazi rule, and the true history they remember is lost to this twisted version of reality. Faced with the consequences of tampering with the fabric of existence, JFK, Bobby, and Everett resolve to fight once again, knowing the stakes are higher than ever. Their battle isn’t over, and this time, they know exactly what they are up against.

Episode Ep.11: The Aftermath Cover

Ep.11: The Aftermath

The Hero’s Legacy In Chapter 11, after JFK sacrifices himself to seal the rift, the team grapples with the aftermath. The rift’s hum fades, and the once chaotic lab falls into a tense silence. Emily and Dr. Krauss reflect on the paradox of JFK’s sacrifice: while he saved countless realities by closing the rift, in another timeline, he is still the victim of the 1963 assassination in Dallas. Dr. Krauss explains that this is the many-worlds theory in action—both JFK’s heroic sacrifice and his tragic assassination exist simultaneously in different realities. Emily sees him as both a savior and a martyr, embodying the dual nature of his legacy. Later, Hugh Everett, the scientist who helped execute the plan, reflects on the enormity of what has transpired. Back at Princeton, he quietly documents the events, knowing they may never be widely known or understood but feeling compelled to preserve the truth. Meanwhile, at Arlington National Cemetery, Bobby Kennedy stands by his brother’s grave, honoring JFK’s sacrifice. He and Everett discuss JFK’s understanding of the multiverse and the weight of even the smallest actions. Bobby recounts a story of JFK’s kindness during a personal moment of grief, emphasizing that Jack knew even small gestures could have far-reaching effects. As Bobby and Everett reflect on JFK’s actions and the merging of realities, they understand that his sacrifice wasn’t just about saving the world from the rift—it was about embracing the significance of every moment and every choice. JFK’s courage echoes across all realities, leaving a lasting legacy that reminds them—and all who remember him—that every action matters, no matter how small. His sacrifice becomes a symbol, not only for this world but for all worlds.

Ep.10: Into the Void

A Hero’s Last Stand Kennedy’s team is desperately trying to contain the rift, which has grown out of control and now threatens not only the lab but all of reality across multiple worlds. Despite the commandos’ relentless assault and the heroics of Jack and Bobby Kennedy, the power of the rift surges beyond control. Everett manages to deploy the containment device, but it is quickly apparent that it may not be enough. As the rift continues to expand, the containment field weakens, and the fabric of reality begins to tear apart. JFK takes command of the situation, realizing that their last hope is to hit the rift directly at its core. Despite protests from Everett and the team, JFK makes the ultimate decision to personally carry the containment device into the rift, fully aware of the fatal consequences. He refuses to let anyone else make the sacrifice, knowing that as commander-in-chief, it is his duty to take this final step. His resolve is unshakable, even when faced with the rift’s chaotic energy, which mirrors his fears and doubts. With the weight of countless worlds on his shoulders, JFK steps into the heart of the rift, carrying the containment device. As the rift pushes back with increasing fury, JFK holds his ground, determined to see the mission through. In a moment of final sacrifice, he presses the device into the core of the rift. There is a blinding flash of light as the rift collapses in on itself, consuming JFK in the process. The scene ends with a tense, unresolved quiet, as the fate of the world—and JFK—hangs in the balance, leaving the ultimate outcome uncertain but full of hope.

Episode Ep.9: Commander in Chief Cover

Ep.9: Commander in Chief

On the Frontlines The team arrives at the Tunnel to Creation, where the rift has already begun to wreak havoc on reality, causing the landscape to warp and twist. Led by JFK, they know time is running out as the instability of the anomaly increases with each passing second. Everett, the team’s scientist, warns that the rift’s energy levels are off the charts, and they’ll need to deploy the containment device directly into the heart of the anomaly if they have any chance of stopping it. As they move through the facility, the disorienting effects of the rift grow stronger, with time flickering unnaturally and sounds distorting into echoes. Despite the chaos, JFK commands the team to stay focused. Their mission is clear, but the rift’s instability threatens to derail their efforts at every turn. The military officers on the perimeter report encountering spatial anomalies, with parts of the terrain shifting unpredictably. As the team pushes deeper into the facility, the rift’s hum becomes a deafening roar, and the tension builds. Everett works frantically to calibrate the containment device as the rift pulses with increasing violence. Debris falls from the ceiling as the facility begins to buckle under the strain. With the rift growing more erratic, JFK urges the team forward, knowing that failure means the end of everything. They reach the lab, where the rift looms before them, a swirling vortex of darkness and malevolent energy. Everett finishes his adjustments just in time, and the containment device hums to life, emitting a high-pitched whine that fills the room. As the team braces themselves, the rift lashes out, sending shockwaves of energy through the lab. Everett warns that the device is straining under the power of the rift, and they only have moments to stabilize it. The room shakes violently as the rift fights back, threatening to overpower the containment field. JFK remains resolute, commanding the team to hold the line as they push the containment device to its limits. The fate of the world—and the entire multiverse—hangs in the balance as the battle between the rift and the containment device reaches its peak.

Episode Ep.8: We Deliver Cover

Ep.8: We Deliver

On Command In this chapter, President Kennedy grapples with the consequences of the rift between 1962 and 2018, a rift that threatens not only his timeline but potentially countless others. As he consults with his scientific advisor, Hugh Everett III, Kennedy becomes increasingly aware of the far-reaching dangers posed by the antimatter experiments and the many worlds theory. Everett explains that the rift could destabilize multiple realities, creating a ripple effect that could destroy more than just the immediate future. Meanwhile, in 2018, Dr. Krauss and his team at Brookhaven Lab face growing chaos as the rift expands. The anomalies caused by the rift become more frequent, with reality itself beginning to fracture—time warps, equipment failures, and unexplained disappearances plague the lab. Krauss, despite his earlier skepticism, realizes that the rift is more than a scientific anomaly; it is a force that could reshape their world and countless others. Kennedy must decide whether to prioritize solving the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 or return to the future to stop the rift from spreading further. The stakes become clear—if the rift continues to expand, the fabric of reality could collapse, rendering any political or military resolution irrelevant. Kennedy contemplates his role as a leader, torn between his responsibilities to the present and the future. The chapter concludes with a sense of looming danger, as both Kennedy and Krauss acknowledge that the rift may already be too far out of control. Their worlds are on the brink of irreversible change, and the boundary between science and the unknown is breaking.
