Revelation 22:20-21

Revelation 22:18-21 covers the final section of the book of Revelation which I have titled "Faithful to the End." In this section we are working with the idea that We must adhere to the words of this book! In vv. 18-19 learned about 1) The Prohibition of Christ. Now, in v. 20a we see 2) The Promise of Christ. Then, in v. 20b we see 3) The Prayer to Christ. And finally, in v. 21, we learn of 4) The Present of Christ.

Revelation 22:18b-19

Revelation 22:18-21 covers the final section of the book of Revelation which I have titled "Faithful to the End." In this section we are working with the idea that We must adhere to the words of this book! We began to unpack vv. 18-19 where we are learning of 1) The Prohibition of Christ. In v. 18a we saw a) The recipients. Now, in v. 18b we see b) The prohibition against addition. Then, in v. 19 we see c) the prohibition against subtraction.

Revelation 22:16-17 covers the topic of "Revelation for the Church." Here, we are working with the idea that The Church needs to understand the book of Revelation! In v. 16 we noted first of all 1) The One who wants us to understand. Now, continuing to discuss v. 16, we see 2) The Recipients of the Book. Finally, in v. 17, we look at 3) The Invitation.
