Miami Marlins + Stadium Tour Recap

Ryan is joined by old buddy Joe to talk Marlins baseball, from their "cool" colors to their World Series runs to their July '25 hot streak. Ryan fondly remembers Mike Piazza's three games as a Marlin, while Joe lists his all-time favorite Marlin players, led by Livan Hernandez. The guys talk everything from ownership to LoanDepot Park to Kyle Stowers. Youth correspondent John Glanzer joins the show to give his take on the Marlins' 2025 chances, and his latest fantasy pickup. Ryan gives his recap of the family's May baseball tour through Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit and Chicago.

New York Mets

Ryan is joined by native New Yorker and diehard Mets fan Alex Kokon. The guys discuss everything from Steve Cohen to Todd Hundley to Mr. Met. In fact, Alex talks about what it was like to be a minor league baseball mascot! Ryan recalls his favorite Met of the 90s, Howard Johnson, while Alex shares his story of meeting Doc Gooden. Ryan reminisces about pregaming at McFadden's Bar on a trip to CitiField in 2011 on a frigid, windy night. Youth correspondent John Glanzer shares why he'd cheer for the Mets over Yankees if forced to choose, and shares highlights of his Little League season.

Pittsburgh Pirates

Ryan is joined by Dr. David Mego, a native Pittsburgher, to talk all things Pirates. Ryan recounts his 2024 family trip to see PNC Park, while Dr. Mego recalls taking his would-be wife to a Pirates game at Three Rivers Stadium many years ago, and believing a Willie Stargell home run to be a sign that it was meant to be! It was a timely episode to record, as the Pirates relieved their manager Derek Shelton just prior to recording. Dr. Mego, who watches every Pirates game on MLB.TV, believes interim manager Don Kelly will have the respect of the Pirates players, as he's not far removed from his playing days. The two reminisce about Pirates from Jeff King to Mike LaValliere to Jason Kendall, and wonder if the team will do what it takes to sign Paul Skenes long-term. Milwaukee Brewers

Ryan is joined by coworker Jon Bortin to talk Milwaukee Brewers baseball! Ryan recalls stories of debauchery unfolding while tailgating for Twins vs Brewers games in the mid-2000s, while Jon recalls memories of attending games at County Stadium, listening to Bob Uecker, and the team's recent run of success. The pair touch on playoff heartbreak, franchise legends including Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, forgotten Brewer aces Cal Eldred and Ricky Bones, Bernie Brewer, sausage races and more. Ryan is joined by special guest Dan Sinnett, a lifelong Cardinals fan who was literally buying 1987 World Series tickets at age 2, as he explains! Ryan recalls a recent visit to Busch Stadium where he sat with the family of Tommy Edman, while Dan relives getting swept up in McGwire's home run chase of '98. The guys talk greatest and most painful Cardinals moments in recent history (2011 and 1985, of course), debate the franchise's biggest legends (Gibson? Musial? McGee?), and many more topics, from Jack Buck to Fredbird.
