In this episode, we sit down with Pastor Jake Long to talk about conspiracy theories! What they are, why they’re so compelling, and how Christians should think about them. After walking through some of the most well-known conspiracies, we turn to the heart of the issue: a growing distrust of authority and a desire to be “in the know.” But beneath that, we ask a deeper question: what does this reveal about us? Is our attraction to conspiracy thinking rooted in pride? In a rejection of authority? Ultimately, we consider how a lack of trust in God’s fatherly rule can shape the way we see the world.
