For the One in Her Breakthrough Era

Even this episode is an act of faith. This week I'm learning to show up at the bronze level — and trust that it's enough. Because not every episode is a bomb-dropper, and I'm learning the rhythm of how God speaks to me and how He made me to communicate. This one is for the woman in her breakthrough era. We so often think breakthrough means "I'm anxious and I need it to be gone." And yes — but what if there are 20 steps before that point that could be rewired? What if breakthrough isn't just the absence of anxiety, but the building of an entire ecosystem of joy and peace? We've bowed down to lies. Social media feeds us a mold for our age, our hair, our marital status, our location — and tells us who to be and what we should want. But what if you are uniquely made? With a pace, a circadian rhythm, a body type, a delight that actually fits you? Maybe it's not just fear or anxiety. Maybe your life has been out of sync with how you operate best — and your body is shouting at you to take the hint and change. What if you asked the Lord: how do I best operate? I've been sitting with the parable of the talents, and I can't stop thinking about the servant who buried what he was given — out of fear of rejection, fear of not being enough, fear of what could be taken away. I talk to women all the time who sense the call to lead, to write, to gather, to build, and yet bury that little sliver of hope because they're terrified of losing it. It's time to dig it out. For the One Stopping the Cycle of Frantic

As we head into Mother’s Day weekend, I’ve been thinking about my journey of motherhood, mixed with being a wife and leader. And while this isn’t necessarily a ‘Mother’s Day episode’, it is an episode for the women who are carrying it at all at the same time. And in the middle of moments where the world needs us, we feel… disconnected. Hollow. Frantic. Buzzing. On fumes. Chasing but behind. Like a snack machine moving from one thing to the next.We’re in all the places. With all the people. Meeting all the needs. But at the same time… none. So maybe this episode finds you in the middle of all those things, but feeling like your heart is somewhere far off in the distance. For the One Bargaining for Mental Peace

What tiny trade off’s have you made to get a little peace in your life? Like giving work just ‘a little more time’ so you could get ahead? Or ruminating over that problem for another night, so you could ‘finally figure it out’? But how have those trades been going? Do you feel any more peace? Any more goodness or joy?  This week’s episode is a call to action to honestly assess the trades we’ve made to ‘get peace.’ The little sacrifices we’ve made, the one degree off from obedience moves, the time we’ve siphoned off all because we’ve bought into the lie that striving, anxiety or control could bring us the outcome we want. “Be still, and know that I am God,” Psalm 46:10 NIV – one of the most common scriptures we quote, frame and tattoo because we long for that type of stillness. But what if its biblical backstory added so much umph to this passage that it would blow your mind? What if the context brought your bargains and peace to the forefront to deal with? And there you would see… That God is truly a deliver. Provider. Redeemer. The God of Heaven and Earth. The King over all your children and career.
