This Memorial Day weekend, Chris shares a deeply personal weekly devotional from his own recent journey through grief. Just seven weeks after the unexpected passing of his only brother Don, he reflects on the emotions he’s experienced while visiting the cemetery in Rolla, Missouri. Standing at the graveside, he gained a fresh understanding of John 3:16 — “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” God didn’t just send Jesus to die for us — He willingly chose to feel the full weight of death and loss so we would never have to walk through it alone.
