HH 32: The Current State of Nursing with Ashley Blackmon

Ashley Blackmon is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who currently cares for advanced heart failure patients. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University in Atlanta. Currently, she has publications in NP Student Magazine, Georgia Nurses Newsletter, and has been on several podcasts including Unity Talks, NP Hub’s “Healthcare Heroes”, and the Head-to-Toe Year in Review Podcast. She most recently passed her certification exam for Heart Failure Nursing. Ashley has educational videos available through UAPRN as well as her Instagram page @true_heart_np.

Dr. Clevenger serves as the Clinical Director and a practicing nurse practitioner at the Emory Integrated Memory Care Clinic.  She earned her BSN from West Virginia University, MSN from Emory University, and DNP from the Medical College of Georgia.
