Welcome to the Heathen Hangout Podcast! I'm your host, Sif, and I'll be talking to a bunch of Heathens/Pagans about well....pretty much everything and anything. The aim of this podcast is to be conversational and organic - easy to listen to. More than anything, I've become very aware that I'm lucky to be surrounded by some incredible people who I can talk all things Heathen to on a regular basis. Many are not afforded the opportunity to be able to have these conversations. I hope that this podcast helps bridge a gap, and help solitary pagans feel less alone in their practice and path.

Heathen Hangout Podcast - Episode 4, Online Paganism

Grab a drink and some snacks, because this episode is a long one! And possibly, the easiest episode I've ever recorded. You'll see why. This episode I was joined by Sarah and Debi who are impressive in numerous ways, but also manage Pagan communities that are online, in one way or another. Here, we talk on the realities and nuance involved in managing those spaces, the accessibility and inclusivity of online (and in-person) spaces, and a plethora of other topics. As always, it's a pleasure to be friends with the people I'm friends with. If there's one thing to take away from this discussion, it's that there's always spaces that are for you. In every way. - Be sure to check out Sarah's work at the Pagan Federation, and her work as a healer at Soul Studio: www.paganfed.org www.sarahssoulstudio.comAnd Debi and her work over at The Grove of Aletheia and The Neurodivergent Student Network: https://groveofa.wordpress.com/https://ndstudentnetwork.wordpress.com/Also! I have a Ko-Fi for anyone that wants to support the podcast: https://ko-fi.com/valsifI think that's it, hope everyone has a good week!

Heathen Hangout Podcast - Episode 1, Community

Hello, hello! Welcome to episode 1 of the Heathen Hangout Podcast, in which I talk to some very cool friends and Heathens about community and what it means to them. Sedge, Sabrina and John are all members of Asatru UK (AUK), and they talk a little about their work throughout this episode as part of that organisation (which I am also a part of). Community can mean different things to different people.... so what does community mean to you? I am eager to discover ways in which I can help others feel more involved within Heathenry and more connected in their practice - so please, do reach out and let me know! A video version of this episode is up now on my YouTube channel! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaZaak82ji0&t=2415s
