Today on Hoy En Día TV, we are honored to welcome a powerful voice in advocacy, education, and storytelling—Lillie Mae Jones.
Born to parents later in life, Lillie Mae’s journey is one marked by resilience, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to making a difference. After losing her father to Alzheimer’s at just 18 years old, she transformed that pain into purpose—fueling a lifelong dedication to human rights, social justice, and strengthening family dynamics.
With an impressive academic foundation that spans Criminal Justice, Human Services, Teaching & Learning, and American Legal Studies & Compliance, Lillie Mae brings both lived experience and deep expertise to the work she does. Her background is further enriched by post-graduate certifications in communication strategies, nonprofit management, and public administration—equipping her to lead, serve, and advocate across multiple spaces.
She is a proud member of the Atlanta Citizen Review Board Street Integrity Team, the Atlanta Press Club, and RAMPD, continuing to use her voice to uplift communities and drive meaningful change.
In addition to her advocacy and service, Lillie Mae is currently pursuing her MFA in Script and Screenwriting, bridging her passion for justice with the power of storytelling—especially within the film and music industries.
At her core, Lillie Mae is a motivator, an inspirer, and a woman on a mission—to empower others to love themselves, believe in their worth, and walk boldly in their purpose.
