HEBREWS WEEKS 24 & 25 - WHO IS THE CHURCH?

Hey everyone! Last week we had some issues with our sound on the Podcast so we couldnt use the content we had. Thank you to Brian Glubish for coming out and helping us out even if the mics didnt work! This week will be a little bit of a combo of Week 24 & 25! Shannon uses The Bible Project to help get us caught up. Its a great visual and overview of the book as a whole! We hope you enjoy this week's study and we will see you next week! HEBREWS WEEK 23 - FAITH, HOPE & LOVE

We are back from Spring Break and Shannon is FIRED UP this week! Join in as we start finishing up Hebrews Chapter 10 -- Make sure you have your Bibles ready and open because we are going to be turning pages. As we begin this week's message let's keep some questions in the back of our mind... 1. Why does the author of Hebrews constantly go back and quote the Old Testament? 2. Who is the author of Hebrews speaking to? 3. Why is the author telling them not to go back to the old covenant? Maybe you already know the answers but its good to have them in our minds as we finish up the book of Hebrews. The theme of this chapter seems to be to hold on to faith, hope, and love... and the greatest of these is love. REMINDER: There will be NO TUESDAY MORNING Bible Study next week as Life Church is closed for Holy Week. Please join us at our other times and locations or keep an eye out for the video next week! HEBREWS WEEK 22 - FALL FORWARD: JESUS OUR HOPE

Welcome back for Hebrews Week 22! We are starting in Chapter 10 and before we go forward — we must go back to the Psalms to fully contextually understand what the author of Hebrews is trying to convey to the people. Where is David at emotionally when he is writing Psalms 37-40? We see him at his lowest and then we see the evolvement of sorrow to hope in the Lord. We also look at Romans 3 where we see that we are all sinners but were given the FREE gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for our sins. Will we be judged on OUR works or by Jesus’ works? REMINDER: Spring Break is next week so we will be off! We will see you on March 24th & 25th!! HEBREWS WEEK 21 - WHO IS THE CHURCH?

Hey everyone! Welcome back for Hebrews Week 21! We missed y’all last week — but we appreciate all of the messages and prayers for Shannon to feel better. We are back and ready to roll! Shannon catches us back up this week and we finish up Chapter 9. Shannon talks a lot about the “church” and what that really means. Who is the church? Its not just a place you go on Sunday’s to check off the box — the church is PEOPLE. We are the church and God tells us to continue to meet together so we don’t drift away.  It’s easy for humans (even with good intentions) to build kingdoms even at churches, where a few become famous and the people are oppressed. Welcome back to week 20 of Hebrews! We are deep in Chapter 9 & this week we are watching a clip from @ShawnRyanShow where he sits down with Wes Huff where he asks questions about life, God, Creation, Jesus and the Tabernacle and so much more -- It's inspiring to hear and see people out in the real world, on some of the biggest platforms in the world, talk and ask questions and debate with each other over our Faith, the Bible and the Historical proof of Jesus. We should be sitting with strangers and friends alike -- sharing the news of Jesus and sitting and wrestling with the scripture TOGETHER! We do this every week, but how often do we "cancel" people who disagree with us or ask us hard questions? Are you spending so much time in the Bible that you actually have answers to questions? Are we afraid to even engage in conversation because we don't feel qualified enough? This week is supposed to make you THINK and we hope it inspires you to GET YOUR FACE IN THE BOOK!
