Episode LOOKS LIKE WE NEED TO FIND ELAINE MCKINLEY Cover

LOOKS LIKE WE NEED TO FIND ELAINE MCKINLEY

Elaine McKinley's wife had a simple request for her 81st birthday: a short hike and a picnic with Elaine and a friend. Kit knew it was the perfect time of year to see all of the wild flowers in bloom. Its easy to see that Elaine, 79 and her wife Kit were not your average senior citizens. They hiked three days a week and took ballroom dancing classes three times a week. Elaine had Alzheimers but was a force to be reckoned with. The three women went on the short, not strenuous hike and as usual Elaine raced ahead of Kit and their friend. It was assumed that Elaine went ahead to the picnic site. When Kit and the friend got to the picnic tables there was no Elaine. Because of her age and cognitive issues search and rescue responded immediately. Drones, dogs, searchers on foot, thermal planes, no source was spared. And yet...Elaine remains missing. If you know anything about what happened to Elaine McKinley, please contact that San Mateo County Sheriff's Office at 650-363-4911, Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. LOOKS LIKE GEORGE GIBSON KNEW WHO KILLED HIM

In June of 2000, George Gibson a successful Veterinarian and researcher for P & G in Cincinnati came home after work, shut this garage door and was never seen alive again. His wife, the equally as successful Paige Smith was headed to New York for a Veterinarian researchers conference. George had a secret life that now would be considered tame, but he had met many women from chat phone lines in person. Although most of the women reported them as "dates" like walking around parks and meeting to talk. George was found bound to a chair, shot NUMEROUS times and two of the couples beloved dogs were also shot with a third and her puppies unharmed. The Ohio Attorney General is supposedly still investigating as well as the West Chester PD. Tips can be reported to the West Chester Police Department at (513) 777-2231 Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Episode LOOKS LIKE MARY ROGERS WAS PUNISHED FOR HER BEAUTY (AND SOME UPDATES) Cover

LOOKS LIKE MARY ROGERS WAS PUNISHED FOR HER BEAUTY (AND SOME UPDATES)

New York in the 1840's was a wild and fascinating burgeoning metropolis with many opportunities, not all good. Mary Rogers was known as "The Beautiful Cigar Girl,' working at a local smoke shop as the owner said her beauty brough in many customers. Mary's mother had opened up her house to boarding after Mary's father died in a tragic steamboat accident. It was mother and daughter trying to get along doing what they needed to do. Mary's beauty was so renowned at the time that James Fennimore Cooper wrote a poem about her that was published in the New York Herald. In 1841 Mary told her mother and fiancee Daniel Payne that she was taking a short boat ride to visit her aunt. But she never returned. She was found 3 days later floating in the Hudson River. What happened to Mary? Her life inspired Edgar Allen Poe to write "The Mystery of Marie Roget," changing Mary's name and making her life in Paris instead of New York Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
