She uses her platform to educate the public about blindness and advocate for inclusivity.  Lucy lost the sight in her right eye at age 11 and her remaining eyesight at age 17 due to Incontinentia Pigmenti. In 2019 became the first-ever blind presenter on BBC Radio 1. She has also presented for the BBC's The Travel Show and has done consultancy work on accessibility for major brands like Pantene and Google. Her motto "Blind Not Broken", she has a large following on TikTok [https://www.tiktok.com/@lucyedwards] and YouTube, where she shares daily life experiences and dispels myths about blindness.
