Start Messy: How Obedience Unlocks Momentum

How many times have you delayed something because it wasn’t perfect? Not because I didn’t feel called. But because I was chasing perfection. The truth is, perfection can sound spiritual. It can sound responsible. We tell ourselves we’re “waiting on God’s timing” or “trying to steward it well.” But sometimes perfection is just fear wearing church clothes. In Matthew 18:21–35, Jesus tells a powerful story that reveals how mercy changes us and why forgiven people forgive. This is a picture of what real love looks like: getting low, serving quietly, and loving without needing credit.
