Did you know Illinois is home to the only river in the world that flows backwards?  To combat the pollution of the river caused by the growing industrial city, the Sanitary District of Chicago made efforts to reverse the flow of the river beginning in 1900. Lou sits down with the former Executive Director of the MWRD, Richard Lanyon, to discuss how it was made possible.

Lou sits down with his "high-school-and-still-to-this-day" BFF, Mike Jakubowski.  After the partners in crime graduated high school they became partners in "real-life" beginning their own contracting business.  While Lou eventually went into media, Mike took a leap later in life and became the industrial tech teacher at Hampshire High School, where he still is today.  Tune in to hear the boys rehash some old stories and talk about the future of the trades while up in the sticks of Wisconsin on their annual Trap and Fish Weekend.
