Believing that finding true love is the key to her salvation, Rhiannon uses magic to seduce Prince Jon - not realizing that he's on a mission to avenge his mother's death by killing her. .. In Episode Two "The Curse" trapped by the English, Rhiannon makes a desperate decision and unleashes a black magic curse. The spell goes out of control, however, and kills an unintended victim. Rhiannon falls into a deep sleep and is sealed within a cave. Ten years later, she's accidentally awakened and discovers a changed Wales. Meanwhile, King Edward's brave but impulsive son Prince Jon tries to convince his father to let him travel to Wales to find Rhiannon and kill her.
