That moment becomes the spark behind our conversation with Angel Noble, founder and executive director of Mission of Truth, a nonprofit working in Haiti to protect vulnerable children from further trauma, exploitation, and trafficking. We start with Angel’s roots in the Louisiana bayou and the Cajun and Creole cultural mix that shaped her identity. Curiosity about French language, Haitian influence on New Orleans, and the feeling of “home” she experienced in Haiti eventually turned into 15 years of on the ground relationships.
