Welcome to the MoCDA talk series. Today, We're chatting with Fanny Lakoubay from the CADAF -Contemporary and Digital Art Fair to find out exactly what CADAF ONLINE is.  Devoted to supporting their global communities of galleries, artists, and collectors, CADAF is launching CADAF Online, a virtual art fair to be held online in June 2020. CADAF is determined to challenge the status quo caused by COVID19 with this innovative event and will host the physical edition of the digital art fair later this year. We created this as a response to COVID-19. Aaron Scheer Live on MoCDA

Currently based in Berlin, Aaron Scheer creates young, progressive art that exists between the poles of analogism and digitalism. He uses painting techniques to create digital painting directly on the computer and attempts, successfully, to mimic the use of physical media through various brushes and paint effects. The core aim of his process is to find innovative ways to transfer the internet, data, documents, photos, and digital information into a new form of painting. We created this as a response to COVID-19. Franco Verrascina (Frenetik Void) Live on MoCDA

Franco Verrascina, known as Frenetik Void, is a digital artist from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he works and resides. He has been connected to digital technology since his childhood due to his father's relationship with software development. Frenetik Void was born as a result of his artistic exploration in digital art. During the talk you’ll hear how Franco creates his art, encapsulating his life experiences into distant surreal and futuristic worlds. We created this as a response to COVID-19. Twisted Vacancy is based in Jakarta and his artist name originated from what the artist experiences as a form of conversation in his head. Heavily influenced by the 1980’s Japanese artists and 1990’s culture, Twisted Vacancy represents many perspectives on life, pop-culture, and esotericism through allegories of South East Asian culture. Pinar Yoldas is a Turkish-American architect, artist, and professor at the University of California, San Diego. Her work develops within biological sciences and digital technologies through architectural installations, kinetic sculpture, sound, video, and drawing with a focus on post-humanism, eco-nihilism, Anthropocene, and feminist technoscience. We created this as a response to COVID-19.
