In this episode, we explore how GRATITUDE shapes us into the people God created us to be, grounded in the truth of Philippians 4:6–8.
Together, we look at how shifting our focus from the thorns of life to the beauty God provides can cultivate joy that circumstances can’t take away.
We talk about simple, practical ways help you acknowledge your struggles, pray through them, and dwell on what is true and praiseworthy.
Above all, we reflect on the greatest source of gratitude—the Good News of Jesus Christ.
GRATITUDE - ROSE EXERCISE
1. FLOWER: What is the situation AS A WHOLE that is bothering me or I feel fixated on?
2. THORN: What is the SPECIFIC AREA of the situation that is difficult to feel grateful for. What is the possible deeper insecurity or issue?
3. PRAY: Sit for a time and INVITE GOD IN. Optionally, mediate on scripture (Philippians 4:6-8, Psalm 23, etc.)
4. ROSE: How can I DWELL ON THE BEAUTY of what God has given you in this situation?
