NIÓBIO
O nióbio (Nb) é o elemento químico de número atômico 41 pertencente ao grupo 5 da tabela periódica. Trata-se de um metal de transição disponível na natureza no estado sólido, que foi descoberto em 1801 pelo químico britânico Charles Hatchett. Os minerais que contêm nióbio são raros no mundo, mas abundantes no Brasil, país com maior reserva desse metal.
