Why can't we get things done Part 2

So the whole world is going to fall apart if we don't handle this emergent or urgent work! At least, that is what they say. What actually happens is something completely different. For the scrum team, we already have one WIP Limit in place. That is what we believe it will take to reach the Sprint Goal and we establish that during Sprint Planning. For the Kanban team, we limit our WIP and classify the type of work we usually have. So this episode is not so much about handling the hijacker, but how to handle the hijack. The same 3 questions...UGH!

Let's talk about those dang old same 3 questions we ask in the daily standup and why they hold you back. The Daily sync is sunk, the standup is everyone sitting down, the daily scrum is daily scum. We have to get away from this pattern and have better engagement.
