Disgrace Ventura is back! Postulating, privateering and pornographing, its about to get a lil Punkadelic up in here! Another really fun one to record! This week, on deck for the punkadelophiles, we've got a jam packed show, including but not limited to: What Guitars Should Sound Like (According to me), 9/11, and how the Simpsons already did it! Looking at you Cypress HIll! Then the climactic, chaotic and kinetic hyperdrive ride thru the lazily rolling hills of Austin, Texas that is DEATH PROOF. I saw one blogger/commenter/critic (whatever!) say that it's the only QT film that hasn't been reclaimed by film nerds as a lost classic. Well let me tell you that campaign starts right here and it starts right now. Misunderstood film. I thought this essay nailed it so I read it word for word for you heathens out there. This is a highly cultured show that reads essays and is intellectual, ok? Also the story of The Shed, London, an absolute classic bit of reporting by Vice, back when they could afford to do wildly stupid shit like this and call it journalism. How'd that work out for them? These takes on popular movies will LITERALLY MELT YOUR EARS OFF. hahahahahaha- NO! On deck tonight we have the usual gumbo of trash, garbage and rubbish. I kick off with recommendations for grunge that came out in 1990, and podcasts i haven't listened to. I review all of our silly, stupid, dumb nicknames! We've amassed many in our tenure as the best podcast recorded in a bedroom in South Vancouver! Then: Sharting, Playstation Games, Recipes for Cow Vagina and I'm asking Who or What are Sleep Token!?!?! Does anyone know? They seem to be a metal band but there doesn't seem to be tons of metal.... call me old fashioned but..... Then I ponder the depths of depravity in the animal kingdom, and try to think around just how long i could survive out there in a given scenario where many animals are attacking me. I think i handled it like a boss. Ready to be attacked by a horde any day now. Then it's off to the races with thee best segment in podcasting: Walloper Watch.
