Hey Lovelies, Sometimes the quiet things we love are doing the deepest work in us. In this episode of Soul Loveth with Shan, I’m sharing how picking up reading again — and choosing Octavia Butler’s Parable of the Sower — has been stirring something powerful in me. Butler’s words about preparation, resilience, and self-sufficiency feel like a mirror for the times we’re living through. This is a soft conversation about the small, sacred ways we get ready for what’s ahead — even when we don’t realize it. As you listen, take a moment to ask yourself: • What gifts are your quiet joys planting in you right now? • How might your soft hobby be growing the strength you’ll one day need? Let’s honor the slow becoming - nothing we do is without purpose. Happy spring time beautiful people! It's been a while. I've been taking some time away to practice what I teach - pour into myself first and really stay in tune with not only what my soul loves - but also what it needs to stay sound and sane in this noisy world we're sharing right now. Yikes! In this episode I share some "soft" hobbies that has been really slowing me down and naturally has me present and more creative. Tune in as I share the benefits of slowing down and engaging all of your senses. Yes - some of these things you know already, yet some are just a gentle reminder to pour into yourself and fight for your humanity (your natural mind). It's the most precious commodity right now. Hey Lovlies! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! In this episode, I reflect on the Thanksgiving weekend and the ways I nurtured my passions—dancing, thrifting, and baking a brand-new dish. I dive into the power of creativity as a form of spiritual warfare, exploring how it can combat stagnation, depression, and the pull to conform to redundancy. Creativity is our weapon for breaking free and living authentically! I also share more about the Soul Seeds E-Journal, which was a complimentary gift for Giving Tuesday, and give a sneak peek into the Soul Loveth Life Path Journal, launching New Year’s Day. 📝🌟 Plus, I’ll talk about the story and deeper purpose behind the name Soul Loveth in an upcoming episode.
